I like panda butts and I cannot lie...

It's true... I saw these little things and was powerless to resist their allure.

I mean, are you kidding me?? Pandas?! On a blue ruffled romper?! With a smiley panda face on the butt?!?!?! MUST. HAVE. IT! And, the pink one too since Kohl's was kind enough to give me 1/2 off a 2nd romper. :)

In related news, it's always fun when you get a deal like this...

OOOOOH mail time.....

Makes me wanna wag my tail... ok sorry, my fellow moms get it LOL...

Today in the mail I got fun stuff for Emalie... a hat and hairbows!!

The hat... oh, how long have I coveted this hat. I thought about buying it as a photography prop, but somehow just never did. Turns out, having a baby girl gave me plenty motivation to GET IT! AND I ordered it the 18th and got it today... custom knit and shipped in like 5 days?? YEA.

Raspberry Funky Loopy Hat from Knittin' Mama on Etsy... I cannot WAIT to put this on her head!! LOL

Also got these precious tiny hairbows from Everyday Clippies on Etsy... SQUEE they're so cute! I hope she has hair!!!

belly pic! 23 weeks + 4 days

Somehow I got on a weird schedule but now I'm sticking with it... my belly pics are on Tuesdays and this one is 23 weeks + 4 days... I can't believe how fast the time is going by! I've gained only 9 lbs so far, so I'm quite proud of myself!!

The little she-pea is getting stronger and more active every day. :) Here we are!

Sopes in the snow

Some pics from our VERY rare big snow... we normally don't get snow at all, and if we do it's in Feb. So to have it a few days before Christmas -- and 7" of it -- was a serious treat for the kids! Ian was at Granny's house, so Sophie and I ventured out for a bit. I'm pretty sure she liked it. Haha.

Totally Making It....

Just found it, must have it, will make it.... get it here.

Thinking about it...

I've had a bit of a wild hair lately to drag the sewing machine out again. for so long I sat in front of that thing for 8, 10 hours a day, that when I decided to give it up I REALLY gave it up. Then, when I got my last wild hair, the stuff I made was... not cute. So, I gave up again.

I think that the baby has altered my hormones or something again because I have this insane desire to domestically create fluffy pillows and such. If I didn't hate making curtains SO much I'd even want to do that. Mainly I want to make nursery type stuff, layette and clothing for Sophie.

Since the "nursery" will be Sophie's room, I can't go too baby or too big girl. I want to use some pretty, girly, citrusy colors like pinks, oranges, yellows, greens and whites... florals and geometric patterns. At least... I think that's what I want. Haha.

I did find this bit of happiness, though I'll have to wait til mid-Jan to order it from the Etsy shop... I think it's worth the wait.

Then I came across this... I love free stuff... from Sandi Henderson (whom I also love) -- free pillow pattern! Woot!

Fabric.... this is the hardest decision.... I'm loving Heather Bailey's "Nicey Jane" collection...

It's TIME!!!

Woot woot.... I am doing this thing! I am finally going to have a personal, family blog -- and keep up with it! I CAN DO THIS!! LOL

I have no clue if anyone will want to look at this thing besides me, and frankly, I'm cool with that. I'm not in it to lure in advertisers or get the most hits. I want to have, by the end of next year, something that I can turn into one of these printed blog books I have heard about. I WANT ONE.

Since I CANNOT abide scrapbooking, I figure this is the perfect way to keep track of those big deals and milestones and have something awesome to pass along to my kids.

Since at this point, backtracking would be absolutely impossible, I'm just going to jump in with current events!

Oh, and I promise to make it look nice soon... seeing as how designing blogs is something I do for a living, I figure I better make sure my own is up to snuff lol.
