More photos!

It was so important to me to get pictures done of Emmie and me... I couldn't miss this last chance to get those priceless shots!

My SIL Missy was a huge help again. I had my looooong wish list of poses and got the makeshift studio all set up and the camera ready to go. Then she put her magic touch on perfecting each pose (I asked if I had a fat chin like 1000 times) and played baby-spotter. THANKS again Missy!

Once we got the mama and baby shots, I took a few of the kids... and managed to capture just about the most swoon-worthy sibling photo I've ever seen (if I may say so myself) --- a beautiful image of my 3 kids together all looking gorgeous?! Unheard of... it's almost impossible to do for a client, but ask any photographer and they will confirm that the odds are about a million to one of catching those perfect shots of our OWN kids. I wish I had hundreds of dollars to purchase a 30x40 canvas of this photo... but I will at least splurge on a huge print and a nice format frame!

Thursday -- Daddy and baby shots

Next week -- if I can convince Missy to go for round 3 -- maybe a shoot for our whole family of 5???

Sweet Sisters

Well I had hoped to get some more pics done today... I have this rabid need to get every cute shot I've ever thought of taken of Emalie while she's still tiny. I'm starting to think that might be unreasonable. If she would sleep at night I might have more success, but for now I'll just do what I can.

I did manage to get the girls in their coordinating tutus and hair flowers today - chosen just for this particular shot - and Emmie cooperated for a few minutes. I'd love some "awake" pics of her, but those will just have to wait until she has more awake time during the day.

I still love these two that I got and I'm so glad I have them as memories for me and for them one day. Tomorrow I hope to get the brother/baby sister shot I've been thinking of for months. I still haven't worked out how I want to pose all 3 of them, because I do want at least one photo of the big kids with newborn Emmie... I'll think of something. It will be a lot of fun when she's about 6 months old, sitting up and smiling... a lot more challenging to get the shots, but worth the effort if I even get one good one.

Emmie's 1st "Official" Photo Shoot :)

Yesterday I finally got up the nerve to attempt Emalie's first real photo shoot. For some reason I felt 10 times more pressure to get great pics!!! She did fantastic for about 45 minutes, then she decided she was OVER IT and was wide awake and fussy for the next 3 hours. DIVA?!

Anyway I ended up with some pics that I love, and eventually I will get motivated to do another round to get a few more poses that I wasn't able to get this time.
